Homework & notices

Post homework for a class and share a notice with parents.

Keep your class and their parents in the loop by posting homework and notices. Both reach the right people without printing or messaging anyone individually.

Posting homework

1

Open Homework

From the menu, open the homework area and choose your class.

2

Write it

Enter the subject, the task and a due date. Keep it clear enough that a parent glancing at it understands what is expected.

3

Post

Post it. Your class and their parents can now see it.

Sharing a notice

A notice is a short message to a class or the whole school — a reminder about a holiday, an event, or something to bring. Write it, choose who it is for, and post. It shows on the dashboards of the people you addressed.

Keep notices short and specific. “Sports day Friday — wear house colours” lands better than a long paragraph.

Who sees what

Homework and notices go to the class you choose and their parents. You are only posting to your own classes, so parents of other classes are not disturbed.

Good practice

Post homework the same day so parents can help at home, and set realistic due dates. For anything urgent to a single family, the school office is still the right channel — notices are for the class as a whole.
