Exams & report cards
Create exams, enter marks and publish results parents can see.
Exams follow a simple arc: create the exam, let teachers enter marks, then publish so parents can see results and open the report card. You stay in control of when results go live.
Creating an exam
Open the exams area
From the menu, open your exams/results area and create a new exam — for example “Term 1” or “Half-Yearly.”
Set the papers
Add the subjects/papers and their maximum marks for each class the exam covers.
Open it for marks
Make the exam available so subject teachers can enter marks for their classes.
How marks get entered
Subject teachers enter marks for their own subject from their login — you do not have to type them all yourself. As a teacher, see Entering marks. Admins can review and, if needed, lock marks once they are final.
Publishing results
Results stay hidden from parents until you publish. This lets you enter and check everything first, then release it in one step. Once published, parents see the result and can open the report card.
Check totals and any borderline grades before publishing. It is much cleaner to correct a mark while results are still hidden than after parents have seen them.
Report cards
The report card gathers a student's marks into a printable sheet, branded with your school's design and, if you use one, a watermark. Report cards stay with the student as history — promoting to the next class does not lose them. Brand them under Document design.
Parents open the report card from their own login once results are published, so distribution is automatic.
