Asking the assistant

Quick answers about your own child, and what it will not share.

If your school has switched on the AI Assistant for parents, it is a quick way to ask about your own child in plain language — no menus to hunt through.

Where to find it

The assistant shows as a chat you can open from your dashboard. Type a question and it answers from the school's data about your child.

What you can ask

  • “My child's attendance this month”
  • “My fee balance”
  • “My child's results”

There are usually quick buttons for these so you can tap instead of typing.

Ask the way you would speak: “how many days was my child absent this month?” works fine.

It only knows your child

The assistant is limited to your own family. You will only ever get answers about your own child — never another family's attendance, fees or results. That boundary is built in and cannot be crossed by rephrasing a question.

If the assistant does not have something — for example results that are not published yet — it tells you plainly rather than guessing.

If you do not see it

Not every school turns the assistant on for parents. If you do not see it, that is your school's choice — you can still find everything in the normal attendance, fees and results pages, and the office is always there to help.
